The Cultural Partnership between Northumbria University and the Royal Society for Arts has been created in the belief that both institutions have an enormous amount to give to one another. By calling upon the experience of Fellows in the RSA the University can more easily ground areas of academic learning in contemporary reality. By calling upon research within the University the RSA can better achieve the radical changes in society which it seeks. This Statement of Intent is therefore a challenge to all members of the University and Fellows of the RSA to open their minds to the almost limitless possibilities for fruitful co-operation which the Cultural Partnership can enable.
